Reflection
As mentioned in the bio page, I became the project manager for Digitizing archives from the Harry Brorby Collection. In the first week efforts were made to digitize a lump sum of photography pertaining to Melvin Brorby's family. During this process my colleague Austin and I utilized multiple types of scanners, dslr cameras to perform the initial digitization. We also corrected some of the photographs using Adobe Photoshop. After some deliberation I devised a organization system using color coded paper clips to identify items to be scanned, items not to scan, and already scanned items. This system helped alleviate confusion between the archiving group and the digitization group.
With the onset of individual projects I sought out to create a Powerpoint of Harry Brorby's artwork chronologically ordered. As of now, there are around 70 works contained in the presentation. Currently I am doing research on Harry Brorby's artistic progression in the years from the years 1945-1973.
